THE ROLE OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TEACHER DEVELOPMENT ON THE VALUES OF RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE AT SMAN 8 PONTIANAK

 This study aims to determine the role of religious teachers in instilling tolerance values, forms that are being taught, and factors support prevent instillation values. research uses a qualitative approach with type phenomenological research. Data was collected through observations, in-depth interviews, documentation, internet searches. The data analysis used is analysis, which method prioritizes phenomena experienced by key informants. results indicated religion at SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak served primarily as educators, mentors, models, addition counselors. embraces tolerance, such mutual aid amongst students different beliefs, respect for diversity school, perpetual peace sense never argue over teachings or beliefs other students. In addition, delivery children facilitated good cooperation between school inhabitants suitable infrastructure facilities. cognitive maturity various inhibits process ideals students, result inhibited.
